My experience with the Detox Bath Kit

The Detox Bath kit is a fantastic luxury set for my at-home relaxation! I have been using the kit for almost a decade. I hate to go even a week without it. It truly makes such a difference in my well-being! I usually use the Soothing Quartz Detox Clay, as it is more for relaxation, and it has a more luxurious feel to it. I have also used the Ultra Pull Detox Clay many times. However, the Soothing Quartz is my preference for Spa time, whereas I would recommend the Ultra Pull for focused detox benefits. I find that whenever I take a bath, I will feel immediately relaxed after the bath, and my muscles feel good. I usually have more soothing and calm energy afterward. It helps me to sleep like a baby, and I often do it right before bed. 

I incorporate the Humate Beauty Essentials with the clay, and I also like to add Magnesium Flakes, which are available in Wellness Origin’s brick and mortar organic store in Carmel, IN. 

One trick I like to use for ultimate relaxation is to scrub my skin in the shower either before or after the bath, with a hand towel and a high-quality soap. This helps to remove residue from your day and gives for a more revitalizing feeling after the bath! You can also add essential oils or candles to your bathroom and play relaxing music for a luxury experience. I love to bring a nice warm drink such as a chamomile or hibiscus tea with raw honey in it with me to my bath, and sometimes I will also bring raw chocolate truffles. Be creative with it, and you can turn it into a beautiful luxury experience in your own home!

My Experience with Cellular Energy Focus

The product is one of my favorite organic supplements from the Wellness Origin line, and this is why I wanted to kick off our product spotlights with it! It was one of the first Wellness Origin products I started using when I was beginning to work out. I would find myself both physically tired and sore after my workouts. I used to dread going to the gym because I felt I did not have enough energy to do my exercises, and the whole process was difficult. This was when I was recommended to try Cellular Energy Focus. I was doing an intense workout course over several weeks to get in shape during the summer a few years ago. Initially, I started adding the product into my water bottle and enjoying it after I went to the gym. I found within a few days I was no longer getting sore from my workouts! The results were just so quick!! Afterward, I also started drinking Cellular Energy Focus earlier during the day for energy, in addition to after working out. 

Today, I love to do exercising of all kinds. I have a ton of energy for exercising, and anytime I have muscle soreness (which is now rare and very low), I know what to do.

I have progressed into drinking Cellular Energy Focus to keep me energized and focused during my performances. I am a singer, and I often have 2 or 3 hours shows late in the evening. We know it can be confusing to look at how many supplements you would like to enjoy and add the right ones into your daily routine! This post is all about guiding you through practical strategies you can use to add supplements from our organic store into your daily lifestyle!

Create a supplement guide and Keep it simple

We recommend writing a supplement guide in your favorite notebook or on a computer document. This way, you can outline which supplements you are taking and when. You can categorize them by the time of day. During the morning and afternoon is when it is an excellent idea to taking supplements which have energizing effects. In the evening, you can take supplements with more relaxing properties. We highly recommend using the directions we give on our supplement bottles. You can also talk with one of our health specialists for customized needs. Here is an example of a part of a simple supplement guide:

Morning – 8 am:

  • Organic Collagen Focus – 1 tablespoon
  • Organic Plant Silica Focus – 1 tablespoon
  • Wild Superfood Complete – 1 tablespoon

Afternoon – 2 pm:

  • Wild Superfood Complete – 1 tablespoon

Notice in this example how I am not adding dozens of supplements in each supplement time. Our supplements have amazing nutrition in them, and we recommend taking a simple approach by incorporating fewer supplements for maximum benefits. Then, you can rotate your supplements throughout the year, depending on your seasonal needs and your active lifestyle.

Pair organic supplements with meals

Before meals

Why are high fiber foods important?

Foods which contain high amounts of healthy fiber are essential to include in daily nutrition! Fiber itself is a carbohydrate which is not digested by the body. Unlike other carbs which our bodies digest for our nourishment, it passes through the body undigested, and this allows it to benefit our health in ways different from digested foods! It helps to both absorb water and promote a healthy digestive tract when it passes through our systems. This means regularity in bowel movements and keeping you full longer. It also encourages healthy blood sugar levels. There are both soluble fibers, which dissolve in water, and insoluble fibers, which do not dissolve in water. Nature provides so many options such as organic fruits and vegetables when it comes to high fiber foods. Here is a list of a few of our favorites:

Carrot – 4g per cup

The root vegetable is excellent for satisfying your appetite and promoting a healthy digestive tract. Try having a full carrot at the end of your meal, and you will see these benefits! A health tip for bowel health is to save room after dinner, and a little later in the evening enjoying several carrots along with a tasty dip like almond butter and maple syrup. We have been taught since the beginning of our lives to make sure to eat enough high protein foods in our daily nutrition! So how do our bodies utilize protein in our daily processes? And what benefits can we experience through adding proper amounts of protein into our meals? Protein plays a vital role in every cell in the body – it serves as the fuel for cells, making it a building block for bones, muscles, skin, blood, and much more. It is also utilized for assisting the body with many other processes. Protein is comprised of a long chain of amino acids, and it is known as a “macronutrient,” as our bodies use it prominently in daily functions. Through properly supplying our bodies with protein, we are promoting the wellbeing of all of our cells, which in turn affects whole-body health! Plant based nutrition choices for protein content

Black beans

Black beans are an excellent source of protein, with 15 grams of protein per cup! Legumes have been known throughout history as wonderful foods for endurance, as even the strong, mighty gladiators in ancient times had diets focusing on these particular foods. Overall, legumes are one of the best high protein foods for plant-based eaters! Other similar legumes to eat for your daily protein include chickpeas (around 14.5 grams per cup) and kidney beans (approximately 13 grams per cup).

Wild Rice

The nutrient-dense food in its raw form has a whopping 24g of protein per 1 cup! An excellent benefit about this food is that it is a species of grass and not a grain, yet it has a consistency similar to grains. So, this makes wild rice an excellent addition to your diet if you are eating grain-free and looking for delicious, easy to prepare substitutes. You can easily prepare raw wild rice by sprouting it. Fill a bowl with wild rice and allow it to soak in the water on your kitchen counter for 1-2 days.

Avocado        

The famous green fruit has about 3 grams of protein per cup! You can enjoy this food sliced into salads, in a smoothie, or even alone with a dash of Himalayan salt added to it!

Broccoli

The fibrous vegetable can provide you with almost 3 grams of protein per cup of chopped Broccoli! It is an excellent addition to salads, or to be eaten as a snack with a vegetable dip.

Spinach

We’ve all heard of Popeye, the strong, muscular cartoon figure whose favorite fit food was spinach. You will receive 1 gram of protein per 1 cup of spinach you consume. It is an excellent addition to meals, salads, and smoothies!

Lentils

Just one cup of these legumes has 18 grams of protein! Enjoying a lentil soup or a spiced lentil dish is an excellent way to add them to your diet.

Spirulina

Spirulina is a powerhouse of organic protein. To put it into comparison with the other foods on this list, 1 cup of Spirulina has 64 grams of protein!
